Dmitry Aleksandrovich Krivoshein (1905, Kirsanov, Tambov province — 1979, Moscow) was a Soviet state official and agronomist; father of Tatyana Timofeevna’s husband, Aleksandr Dmitrievich Krivoshein.

In Tatyana Timofeevna’s family notebook he appears in the Krivoshein chart (1905–1979; buried at Lyuberetskoye cemetery — per the notebook).

Brief biography

Born into a meshchane family (Kirsanov). Member of the VKP(b) from 1938.
Graduated from the Leningrad Agricultural Institute in 1930.

Worked as agronomist and state-farm director (Orenburg area; Ivanovo industrial region; RKKA state farm).

In August 1949 most of the Crimean obkom bureau was repressed; on 2 September 1949 his son Aleksandr was arrested (sentenced under Art. 111 RSFSR Criminal Code to 10 years). D. A. Krivoshein was removed from the Amur post; in 1950 he was at the disposal of the Central Committee.
Family and public sources state that the son was rehabilitated in 1954 and restored to work.
